This room contains juxtapositions of styles and textures that work together, creating a luxurious and sumptuous feel within the space.  Artwork will be introduced into the space however it has to be the right piece.  Hanging the sheers from the ceiling to the floor has elongated the window, making it appear larger than it actually is.  The leather on the lamp stands and mirror, together with the Black Truffle Stone Effects on the tables, connect beautifully, with the warm coppery hues used for the bedhead, vase, lantern and door handles.  The Marquis Bedcover is soft and inviting, and adding the spice throw and cushions, has certainly elevated the overall look and feel, bringing warmth and cosiness into the space.  I love The Artisan Company’s Tahr Matte Estate Wall Paint used throughout this room.  It has such a beautiful warm and earthy tone.  So many of us choose to use one colour throughout the entire home, and that’s okay, if that’s the look you want, but think about using different colourways in each room, taking in to account the look and feel you want to create, and the story you want to tell, through the use of colour.

Side Tables - Tops completed using Black Truffle Stone Effects Paint and bases done in Old Espresso Premium Chalk Paint, Jayda Rose and Marko Bronze Metallic Glazes

Bedhead - Old Espresso Velvet Luxe and the outer part completed with Jayda Rose and Marko Bronze Glazes with Bronzanite Glide on the Bevels

Vase, Lantern & Door Handles - Old Espresso Velvet Luxe and Jayda Rose and Marko Brinze Glazes

Blanket Box - Potters Clay, Izabellars Room, Bruised Petal, Stormy Creek and Grassmere Premium Chalk Paint, blended together, Dark Wax, the following Premium Chalk Paint Washes, Duck Egg, Bach Blue and Obsidian Blue, Clear Wax and Soft Gold Metallic Creme, finished by highlighting with Bronzanite Glide
