BIRD BATH

This Bird Bath has been totally transformed by using The Artisan Company’s Stone Effects.  To add more depth and interest we have applied Metallics.  This piece will feature at my home in our Garden Area, hopefully attracting birds from near and far.

What we Did:

Painted in Crushed Graphite, our darkest grey in the Artisan Stone Effects Range.  We then applied a Carbon Black Wash over the entire piece.  Somerset Gold and Indie Gold Metallics were mixed together to create a soft, Gold and this was dry brushed over the piece.  We then applied Milan Moonshadow Metallic here and there and then knitted the piece together by going back over it with Carbon Black Wash, ragging back.  Highlighting certain areas was achieved by adding more Milan Moonshadow and Carbon Black here and there.  Gloss Lacquer has then been used to give the piece a polished stone effect.
