We were in love with the character of this unique coffee table. We talked to our client about a few different colourways & decided on a decorative paint finish to suit her space. We wanted to keep the hinges & handles the original black metal, so took these off before we started the project.
What we Did:
Painted in The Artisan Company Sea Mist Premium Chalk Paint, a soft grey & to finish, a Carbon Black Coloured Wax. The heavy contrast of the Carbon Black Coloured Wax sitting on the Sea Mist allows this paint finish to show its brush strokes, making for a modern monochromatic, textured, rustic paint finish.
