ENRIETTE

‘Enriette’ is a Buffet that we have been able to turn in to an outstanding Bespoke piece.  The layering of multiple colours has given her warmth, plenty of movement, depth and interest.  Full strength Metallic used to accentuate and highlight the handles and hand carved detailing, drawers your eye to her even further. A beautiful ensemble of products used from The Artisan Company’s Premium Chalk Paints and Metallic Alchemy Range was used to create Enriette’s luxe and worldly finish.  She was painted with a stippled technique, to create an earthy stone effect, adding character to her.  It is this texture that brings the reflective Metallics to life, as they play with the light beautifully, bouncing off the raised texture.  This certainly is a piece that is best seen with the naked eye to truly appreciate the work that has gone in to creating this finish, so if you get a chance, pop in to see her and to discuss how we achieved this look.

What we Did:

The Artisan Company’s Dor Greige Premium Chalk Paint, stippled, Duck Egg and Potters Clay dry brushed, 6 to 1 ratio of Oyster Cove Metallic, 3 to 1 ratio of Milan Moonshadow Metallic, Crushed Lavender, Duck Egg, Purple Sash and Toulouse dry brushed, 4 to 1 ratio of Artemis Bronze and 4 to 1 ratio Sommerset Gold Metallics, brushed on in small sections and ragged back.  A 1 to 1 ratio of Artemis Bronze was used on the handles and edgings of the detailing.
