DINING SUITE

Commissioned Piece….Our Client asked that we paint this dining suite in The Artisan Company Premium Old Espresso Chalk Paint & Carbon Black Coloured Wax.  She was a very tired old piece, but with some TLC & beautiful new upholstery, we were able to meet our Client’s brief & nothing gives us more satisfaction than that.  We hope that pieces like this, that normally would be looked at & the initial thoughts are “there is nothing that can be done”, make you look at these old, but solid pieces in a new way.  They certainly don’t make them like this anymore & as we have said before, they have already stood the test of time & will continue to do so for many more years.  Don’t discard pieces like this, think outside the square & re-imagine what you can do with them.  Old furniture revived will tie in beautifully with new pieces & they stand out so much, because everyone knows they are old or antique, but once painted to suit your interior space they once again become cherished & much talked about pieces.  Just because something is old & worn, doesn’t mean it should be discarded, instead it should be loved & nurtured.
